Hello, I am Françoise! I am a PhD student in International Nutrition at Cornell University with a background in Nutritional Epidemiology and Food Systems from Wageningen University. My research focuses on improving diets and addressing adverse nutrition outcomes for women through sustainable food systems interventions in low-resource settings. I founded Walk4Hunger, an annual event where graduate students embark on a 10k walk, engaging in thought-provoking reflections on how making a meaningful impact in the food system starts with us. I am passionate about learning and scaling disruptive innovations that improve diet and planetary health in an equitable way. I have worked for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), on the Innovation for Health and Planet team. In my personal time, I facilitate interactive workshops using participatory methodologies that foster food systems thinking for Glocolearning.
