Rwanda

Hello! I am a public health and nutrition professional from Rwanda with a background in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rwanda. My work focuses on youth engagement, food systems, public health advocacy, and socio-economic empowerment, aligning with SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

As the Founder of Nutri Communication and Technical Lead of Heza Initiative, I promote nutrition education, food security, and community-driven health interventions. I secured funding for the One Egg per Cancer Patient project in Gicumbi District and led nutrition awareness campaigns during World Nutrition Month.

At Empower Rwanda, I coordinate the AGRA-funded YEFFA project, supporting youth and women’s participation in agriculture. I also lead initiatives on teen mothers’ economic empowerment, menstrual hygiene, and adolescent SRHR awareness.

Previously, as Consultant Assistant at Ark for Community, I facilitated capacity-building workshops for youth, women, and local leaders on participatory problem-solving and governance. My leadership includes serving as President of the Public Health Student Association, securing funding for SRHR and nutrition education, and leading maternal and child health outreach.

I completed internships at Caritas Rwanda, Kagugu Health Center, and Kibagabaga Hospital, contributing to GMP, IYCF counseling, and WASH programs.

As a Member of the Africa Youth Panel PAC, I advocate for youth-led policy solutions. I have participated in global conferences, including Women Deliver 2023, and was selected for the Ashoka Innovation Intrapreneurship for Health Fellowship.
