Syed Hasnain

Hi, my name is Hasnain! I am currently pursuing an MS in Business Analytics at Karachi School of Business and Leadership. I serve as a Board Member at In-Sight Collaborative, Co-founder at Nukta, and a Youth Leader for Pakistan at Act4Food.

As part of Act4Food, I have been contributing to food system policy within Pakistan and spoken at various events including the SUN Youth Network Launch, Pakistan Food System Dashboard launch, and Youth in the Bioeconomy event. At these forums, I emphasized engaging youth in policy discussions and highlighted Act4Food's contributions to this mission. I also led local initiatives, including maternal nutrition programs and the GreenClassroom initiative to build capacity among educators in under-resourced communities to advance environmental literacy and climate awareness.

As Co-founder of Nukta, I work on food systems transformation by leveraging data to address the critical intersection of gender equality and climate resilience. My work recognizes that gender dynamics and climate impacts are interconnected factors that significantly affect food systems. I have been engaged with both the development and business sectors over the past 5 years while leading multiple projects. My most notable initiative includes ‘Young Shapers’ where I directly engaged 600+ young people and ran over 6 successful projects including Act Clean Fellowship Program, Climate Action Bootcamp, ShapingYou(th), and Sponsor A Meal among others. My project ideas got recognition at different platforms including the Rhodes Trust, Asian Development Bank, Institute of Business Administration, Accountability Lab, and Beta-I Portugal. Having a passion for translating knowledge to aspiring changemakers, I have mentored participants at the Insight Collaborative Mentorship Program, Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, Young Sustainable Impact, United People Global and Center for Social Innovation in Developing Countries (CSIDC). My professional experience includes working with Equitech Futures, United People Global, Teach For Pakistan, Teamup.pk, National Incubation Centre Islamabad, and In-sight Collaborative.
