Ushasree Sunkari

Hello, I'm Ushasree Sunkari, a 25-year-old advocate for food science, nutrition, and sustainability. With a background in Food Science, Nutrition & Dietetics, and an MBA in Marketing, I’ve dedicated my journey to improving global food systems, public health, and innovation.
From working as a lecturer and clinical dietitian intern to leading research on sustainable, gluten-free food alternatives, I’ve combined science, business, and policy to drive change. As an active student leader at the University of Surrey, I’ve represented youth voices in discussions about food security, sustainability, and better academic experiences.
I believe that food should be a right, not a privilege. I am committed to shaping a future where everyone has access to safe, nutritious food while protecting our planet. Through research, advocacy, and leadership, I will continue working toward a healthier, more sustainable world.
